The course has wintered well, with excellent grass covering, showing the benefits of spiking and mowing through out the summer months.
All the portable fences have been placed and sited on the course for three weeks, and have settled well. As usual, we have renewed 2 fences as per annum, and those being the uphill and first of the pen fences. Numbers 4 and 5. At this present time - 12.30 on 25th Feb, the going is Good to Soft.
The Course Inspector has made a visit to the course, and has assed all the fences as up to height.
A new Number Board is in situ. Generously sponsored by Mr Nick and Mrs Helen Connors, and Mr John and Mrs Doone Chatfeild Roberts, in memory of the late Dr Tom Connors.
