Hello all you Point-to-Point enthusiasts.
The first of five meetings on Feb 25th is almost upon us. We begin this season as usual with the Cottesmore - 7 Race Card.
The course has wintered well with a good covering of grass.
Improvements this year include a revamped disabled viewing stand next to the disabled car park. As usual we have a Tote and Bookmakers.
For the best value buy your tickets online - £10 per person, Unders 16's free, or £13 on the gate.
On a Health and Safety issues this year: Horses and Vehicles will use the concrete bridge and the Public will use the Wooden Bridge. No Public will be allowed to watch the racing from the rail along the home straight - This road is to service the Ambulances and Doctors. Race goers will have access to the inside of the Racecourse.
All Horses being lead around the Box Park will be require to wear a Bridle or Chifney and Head Collar , and it goes without saying that Dogs must be on Leads in All areas.
The going is currently Good to Soft. We will update on Wed, Fri and Sat.
