We would like to apologise for the miscommunication over the abandonment of the fixture last weekend.
The decision was made on Friday and we immediately posted notices on our two Garthorpe social media platforms and three Midlands Pointing ones which were shared widely.
This is the first cancellation where the message has not got through to everyone so we are committed to finding out why and how we can make sure it doesn't happen again.
It has always been Midlands Pointing policy to refund e-ticket purchases and yours will be with you in due course. Because of the way the payment provider deals with the money after a purchase we don't receive it for up to a week afterwards so the refund can take up to ten days.
