All the bends and fences have bee moved to fresh ground. There is natural rain forecast over the next few days, but watering will take place if necessary to produce safe racing ground. The next going update will be issued on Wed May 6th. The P2PRC are taking Point to Point entries.

2.45 pm Friday 24th April... Brian's Update
watering has gone well. Completed by 2pm today. Going at this time is : Soft side of Good, and Good for first 2 furlongs in home straight. Anticipated going tomorrow, given weather forecast, should be generally good.
Ground Update
we will continue to water tomorrow due to the dry conditions. There is no rain of any significance forecast. We will produce good safe ground. Brian will issue a going report at 3pm tomorrow (Fri)
Brian Crawford's update on the watering
Watering is going according to plan, and we will continue to water up until the meeting, as required. Brian, as Clerk of Course requests that you do not walk Garthorpe until after lunch on fri, preferably teatime, so you can get a truer feel of the going.
